Frederico George

Apartment Frederico George is a renovation project located in Telheiras with an area of 90sqm.

The program given by the client was to create a minimalist, functional and comfortable home, comprised of a kitchen, living room, 2 bathrooms, and 3 bedrooms.

The starting point was to create a clear distinction between the social and private areas of the apartment. Our proposal comprised 3 volumes that would organize the living-room, hall, and kitchen, creating a circular flow between these areas. The living room volume would then segment the social area from the private area by a pivoting door seamlessly built in the cabinet, so the social area would look like an apartment in itself, concealing the other half of the apartment.

Using the existing floor, we adjusted the tones and materiality to create a warm palette that would work as a vessel for all client furniture.
