Sá Miranda

Located in Ramada, we were commissioned to design an extension to an existing house of 80sqm together with the refurbishment of the existing house. The existing house is a typical archetype of a simple traditional house. The design intent is to use the protruding base of the house as a flowing surface that generates the house extension in a swooping move. The new part represents the public house space, using the existing volume to allocate the private areas creating a clear division.
